OUR HISTORY

We Build Projects that Last

At CVC, we give each of our projects the personalized attention it deserves. We work closely with our clients to achieve our mission: to produce the results of a large corporation with the heart of a small business. Through our 15+ years of operation, we have built a wide-ranging portfolio where each project helps support its community's infrastructure. Check out our project timeline below, and please contact us for more information.

2010

CVC was founded in 2010. Our first projects included equipment installations, repair of damages from the 2010 Nashville Flood, and sitework projects.

2011

Our second year of business saw tremendous growth with the construction of our first pump station project at Whites Creek along with subcontracting for several large wastewater treatment plant projects.

2012

In 2012, our projects centered around smaller improvements to large Metro Nashville wastewater treatment plants. We also completed several concrete projects, including replacing a parking lot and pouring a box culvert for a bridge repair.

2013

2013 saw CVC taking on even larger projects, including our first over $10,000,000 with the construction of the Opryland Equalization Basin. Additionally, we continued to partner with water and wastewater treatment plants to provide improvements and replace equipment.

2014

Our projects in 2014 included water and wastewater treatment plant improvements across the state with our largest project of the year being the rehabilitation of 7 steel water tanks with site improvements. Additionally, we completed a large private industry project for CSX Transportation to construct a sewer pump station at one of their train yards.

2015

We continued to improve water infrastructure across Middle Tennessee in 2015, building two new pump stations and installing new technologies across four different municipalities.

2016

We focused on smaller projects in 2016, improving various treatment plants and pump stations with emerging technologies like UV disinfection.

2017

In 2017, CVC built some of our largest projects, including a campus electrical substation for the Omohundro Water Treatment Plant. We also built a 10+ million gallon equalization tank and pump station along with smaller repairs for various treatment facilities in Nashville.

2018

In addition to several equipment installation and concrete pouring jobs, we constructed a pair of equalization tanks and corresponding pump stations in Springfield, TN.

2019

We focused on improvements to existing water treatment plants in 2019 for various plants across Springfield, Columbia, and Nashville, TN.

2020

Even throughout the pandemic, we remained hard at work with some of our largest jobs to date, including the construction of a 60' deep pump station complete with an equalization tank and power generation. We also worked on improvements to both Central Wastewater Treatment Plant for Davidson County and Berry's Chapel Wastewater Treatment Plant.

2021

Our 2021 projects included a new equalization facility in Brentwood, TN along with improvements to water treatment plants across Metro Nashville, Madison, and Clarksville, TN.

2022

In 2022, we secured our largest construction project in company history: building the all-new thermal dryer for the Clarksville Wastewater Treatment Plant. At over $50,000,000, this project entails constructing a biosolids pelletizing facility, screening facility, and odor control for the city of Clarksville.

2023

Our 2023 projects included the construction of a sewage pump station, expansions and improvements for wastewater treatment plants in both Clarksville and Portland, TN, and demolition of various reservoir tanks around Nashville.

2024

In 2024, we began projects such as constructing a sewage pump station, retrofitting sedimentation basins, and initiating two large-scale contracts with Metro Water Services for construction and mechanical services through 2030.

2025

Our 2025 projects included constructing three pump stations and the construction of a backup generator system at Central Water Reclamation Facility along with some smaller installation projects.

Looking Ahead

CVC continues to bid jobs across Middle Tennessee, and we look forward to both familiar projects and new challenges as water and wastewater treatment technologies evolve.
